What Replaced the Elux Legend 3500? UK Guide
The Elux Legend 3500 was one of the best-selling vape bars in the UK. If you have been looking for it lately and come up empty, that is because it can no longer be sold here. This guide explains why, and which Elux products are the closest replacements today, so you can keep the flavours you liked.
Why you can't buy the Elux Legend 3500 any more
The Legend 3500 held about 10ml of 20mg nic salt e-liquid, ran on a 1500mAh battery and was thrown away when it was empty. That caused two problems in the UK:
- Tank size: UK rules limit a nicotine vape's tank or pod to 2ml. A 10ml device was never compliant for UK sale.
- Single-use ban: since 1 June 2025, shops in the UK can no longer sell or supply single-use vapes. The Legend 3500 was single-use, so it is now banned outright.
Any shop still selling a nicotine Elux Legend 3500 is selling stock that is not legal in the UK. The good news is that Elux now makes rechargeable products with the same flavours.
The closest replacements
1. Elux Firerose Alter 7000: the easiest switch
If you want something that feels like the Legend 3500, start with the Elux Firerose Alter 7000 kit. Like the Legend bar, there are no buttons and nothing to fill. You just draw. The difference is that the battery is rechargeable and you click in a new sealed 2ml pod when one runs out. Each pod is 20mg nic salt with a mesh coil, rated for up to 7,000 puffs (manufacturer estimate). The kit comes with 5 pods, and spare Firerose Alter 7000 pods come in all 20 flavours.
2. Elux Legend Prime 5000: refillable, with Legend liquid included
The Elux Legend Prime 5000 is a rechargeable kit with a 2ml refillable pod and a 10ml bottle of Elux Legend nic salt in the box, for up to 5,000 puffs (manufacturer estimate). It has a 600mAh USB-C battery and a mesh coil. Top up the pod from the bottle when it runs low, and switch to any nic salt you like once the bottle is empty.
3. Elux Legend nic salts: the same flavours in any pod kit
If you already own a refillable pod kit, or want one, Elux Legend nic salts are made by Elux to the same flavour profiles as the Legend bar. Each 10ml bottle is 50VG/50PG in 5mg, 10mg or 20mg, with 50 flavours. Pair them with a simple MTL kit such as the Uwell Caliburn or Vaporesso XROS from our MTL vape kits.

What is the closest thing to the Elux Legend 3500?
The Elux Firerose Alter 7000. It is draw-activated with no buttons and 20mg nic salt like the Legend bar, but it is rechargeable with replaceable pods.
Do Elux Legend nic salts taste the same as the Legend 3500?
They are made by Elux to the same flavour profiles, so they are the closest match you can buy as an e-liquid. Taste can vary a little with the kit and coil you use.
