Hayati Pro Max vs Pro Ultra: Which Should You Buy?
Hayati Pro Max vs Pro Ultra comes down to how much you vape and whether you like switching flavours. The Hayati Pro Max Plus 6000 is the smaller kit: one flavour per pod, rated for up to 6,000 puffs. The Hayati Pro Ultra Plus 25K holds two flavours you switch with a twist, rated for up to 25,000 puffs, and adds a screen.
Both are rechargeable prefilled pod kits with replaceable pods, so both are legal to sell in the UK. Here is how they compare, what each one costs you in pods over a month, and which one we would point you to.

What the two kits have in common
Under the skin they are close relatives. Both use the same size battery (850mAh), charge over USB-C, and fire when you draw, with no buttons. Both use a 2ml prefilled pod that tops itself up from a separate container as you vape, so you never fill anything by hand. And both pods are 20mg nicotine salt, the UK legal maximum, in a 2ml pod.
The flavour names overlap too. Summer Dream, Fresh Mint, Lemon Lime, Mr Blue and Watermelon Ice all appear in both ranges. If you already have a favourite on one kit, there is a good chance it exists on the other.
Where they differ
Capacity
The Pro Max Plus carries 2ml plus a 10ml container. The Pro Ultra Plus carries 2ml plus two 10ml tanks, so roughly double the liquid, and it is rated for about four times the puffs. That is the main reason pods last weeks rather than days.
Two flavours in one
Each Pro Ultra Plus pod holds two flavours, each with its own tank and mesh coil. You twist the top to move between them. Some pods pair two different flavours (for example a blueberry and a raspberry candy), others put the same flavour in both sides. The Pro Max Plus is one flavour, start to finish.
Screen
The Pro Ultra Plus has a screen showing both battery and e-liquid level, so you can see when a pod is getting low. The Pro Max Plus has a simple LED battery light.
Size
The 6000 is the smaller, lighter device and sits more easily in a pocket. If you mostly vape on the go, that matters.
Pods per month: which is cheaper to run?
Rather than quote prices, which change, it helps to think in pods. Based on the manufacturer's pod life figures:
- Pro Max Plus 6000: one pod lasts about 5 to 10 days, so most people get through 3 to 6 pods a month.
- Pro Ultra Plus 25K: one pod lasts about 2 to 4 weeks, so most people get through 1 to 2 pods a month.
Compare the current price of each pod on the Hayati Pro Max Plus pods and Hayati 25K pods pages and multiply by your likely number. For heavier vapers, fewer, larger pods usually work out cheaper per week. Light vapers may never finish a 25K pod quickly enough for that to matter.
Both kits are covered by our multibuy offer, so it is worth buying pods three at a time.
Changing pods on each kit
Both kits work the same way when a pod runs out, and neither needs any filling.
- Pull the empty pod out of the top of the battery.
- Push the new pod in until it clicks and sits flush.
- On the Pro Ultra Plus 25K, twist the top to pick which of the two flavours you want first.
- Take a few gentle puffs to let the coil soak before you vape normally.
Charge the battery with a USB-C cable when the light or screen shows it is low. Because you keep the battery and only replace the pod, both kits create far less waste than the old single-use bars. When a battery eventually reaches the end of its life, take it to a vape shop take-back point or council recycling centre, never the household bin.
Which should you buy?
- Light or occasional vaper: the Hayati Pro Max Plus 6000 kit. Smaller, simpler, and you can try several flavours quickly because each pod runs out sooner.
- Daily vaper: either works. Pick the 6000 if you like changing flavour every week, or the 25K if you would rather change pods less often.
- Heavy vaper: the Hayati Pro Ultra Plus 25K kit. Fewer pod changes, a screen that tells you when liquid is low, and two flavours to stop you getting bored.
- Coming from single-use bars: the 6000 feels closest to the old bars in size and draw. See our guide to what replaced the Elux Legend 3500 for more on making the switch.

FAQs
Do Hayati Pro Max pods fit the Pro Ultra?
No. The pods are not cross-compatible. Hayati Pro Max Plus pods only fit the Pro Max Plus 6000 battery, and 25K pods only fit the Pro Ultra Plus 25K battery.
Which lasts longer, the Hayati Pro Max or Pro Ultra?
The Pro Ultra Plus 25K. It is rated for up to 25,000 puffs per pod against 6,000 for the Pro Max Plus, and a pod typically lasts 2 to 4 weeks rather than 5 to 10 days.
Which is cheaper to run?
For most daily and heavy vapers, the 25K, because you buy fewer pods. Light vapers who take weeks to finish a pod may find the smaller 6000 is all they need.
