Which resistance should I choose?
The 0.25Ω head is slightly lower in resistance, so it runs a touch warmer and produces a bit more vapour. The 0.3Ω head is a little cooler and can stretch battery life on a pen-style device. Both are DTL coils, so they work best with high-VG e-liquid such as 70/30 shortfills. If your current coil is labelled 0.25Ω or 0.3Ω, simply buy the same again for an identical vape.
Looking after Vape Pen coils
Prime each new coil with a few drops of liquid on the exposed cotton, then fill the tank and wait five to ten minutes before vaping. Avoid chain vaping a fresh coil. When flavour turns burnt or muted, or the coil starts to gurgle, it is time to swap it. A change of coil is often the fix when an older pen kit starts to taste flat.
