Description
OXVA UniCOIL coils are replacement mesh coils for OXVA's Origin family and other UniCOIL-compatible OXVA devices. Sold in packs of five, these OXVA UniCOIL coils come in 0.2 or 0.3 ohm for direct-to-lung vaping with plenty of vapour.
Key features
- Pack size: 5 coils
- Resistance options: 0.2 ohm or 0.3 ohm mesh
- 0.3 ohm: 30 to 40W, DTL
- 0.2 ohm: DTL, made for the OXVA Origin X
- Authenticity: each pack carries an authenticity code
Which UniCOIL do I need?
- 0.3 ohm: the everyday choice for OXVA Origin, Origin 2, Origin Mini, Origin SE and Velocity LE users who want a warm DTL vape
- 0.2 ohm: a higher-power DTL coil listed by retailers for the Origin X only, so check your device before choosing it
On the Origin 2 and UniOne cartridge, the 0.3 ohm coil needs the AFC airflow ring fitted to work properly.
Fitting a new UniCOIL
Make sure the airflow ring is in place if your device needs it, then push the coil in firmly. Add a few drops of e-liquid to the cotton through the coil's wicking holes, fill the pod or tank and wait around five minutes before vaping. Start at the lower end of the wattage range and build up.
Choosing your liquid
These low-resistance coils are best with higher-VG liquids such as 70/30 vape juice or 0mg 100ml e-liquids with a nicotine shot. Avoid 20mg nic salts at this power, as they will feel very harsh.
