Description
Innokin Z coils are the replacement heads for the Innokin Zenith tank family and kits built around it. The range covers mouth-to-lung and restricted direct-to-lung styles, so you can pick a tight MTL coil or a looser RDL head for the same tank. Each pack contains five Innokin Z coils.
Key features
- Options: 1.2, 0.5, 0.8, 1.6 ohm
- Pack size: 5 coils
- Styles: MTL and RDL
- Liquid: 50% to 70% VG
Which Z coil?
- 1.6 ohm: tight MTL at low power, ideal for 10mg or 20mg nic salts
- 1.2 ohm: MTL with slightly more vapour, a popular all-rounder
- 0.8 ohm: a looser MTL draw with warmer vapour, good with 50/50 liquids
- 0.5 ohm: a Plexus mesh restricted lung (RDL) coil, best with lower nicotine and higher VG
Compatible tanks and kits
Z coils fit Innokin Zenith tanks, Go Z, Zlide and Zlide Top tanks, plus kits that use them such as the Coolfire Z series, EZ Tube Zenith Minimal, Gozee, Go Z Pen, Adept Zlide and Kroma Z. If you are unsure, check the coil name printed on your existing head.
E-liquid and nicotine
With the 1.6 and 1.2 ohm coils, use nic salts or 50/50 up to 20mg. With the 0.8 and 0.5 ohm coils, a lower strength works better because you get more vapour per puff. Try IVG Salts in the higher ohm coils, or browse our nic salts.
Priming and lifespan
Wet the cotton through the side holes, fit the coil, fill the tank and wait around five to ten minutes. Start at the lower end of the coil's wattage. Most Z coils last one to three weeks.
